Privacy Policy

Information you provide. When you create a blueprint, join the waitlist or claim a professional profile, we collect the details you enter. This can include your name, email address, home search preferences (such as timing, budget range, areas of interest and home type) and, for professionals, license and business details. We also collect:

• Calculator scenarios you save to your blueprint, such as home price, down payment, interest rate and current rent
• Homes you save and the home search you run on our Homes page, which we keep on your blueprint and share with a professional only along with your blueprint, when you ask us to
• The email address of another person you ask us to send your results to, which we use to send that message and do not add to our mailing lists
• Records of requests you make to be contacted by a professional, including the professional you selected, the consent statement you agreed to and the date and time you agreed to it

Information about professionals. We collect licensing information from public state records, such as name, license number and type, year first licensed, city and county, and employing brokerage. We may also collect work contact details, such as business email addresses, from public sources such as state licensing boards, NMLS, state bar directories and company websites, and use them to verify profile claims. When a professional claims or edits a profile, we collect the information they add, such as profile text, photos, phone numbers and links to their websites and review pages.

Information collected automatically. When you use the site, we collect standard technical data such as pages visited, device and browser type, referring site and approximate location derived from your IP address. When you sign up, we also record how you first arrived at the site, such as the referring site, landing page and any campaign tags in the link you followed.

Information stored on your device. The site saves your blueprint answers, which can include your name and email address, and how you first arrived at the site in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. You can remove this information by clearing your browser's site data.

• To send account messages, updates and information about our services
• To analyze and improve the site
• To protect the site and comply with legal obligations

We may share information with:

• Real estate professionals, such as agents, lenders and title companies, in connection with your home search or purchase
• Service providers that help us operate the site, such as hosting, data storage, email delivery and analytics providers
• Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business
• Authorities or others when required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public

We use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics, to understand how the site is used. You can manage cookies in your browser settings or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by following the instructions in the email or contacting us. You may also request access to, correction of or deletion of your information by emailing hello@buildmyrealestateteam.com.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We keep account and profile information for as long as your account is active or as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Records of contact requests and consent may be kept for as long as needed for those purposes.

To request deletion of your information, email hello@buildmyrealestateteam.com from the address associated with your account. We will delete or de-identify your information unless we are required or permitted by law to keep it.

The site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date and, where the changes are significant, provide additional notice.
